One Child is a sensory-enriched environment that provides therapeutic intervention utilizing a combination of: sensory integration, Neuro-Developmental and Biomechanical approaches to treatment. One Child services babies with a range of diagnoses and needs, including: developmental delay, oral motor/oral sensory difficulties, preterm babies, congenital anomalies, sensory intergration disorders, neuromusuclar disorders, and high-risk babies.
One Child provides weekly in-services led by licensed occupational therapist, Dr. Christine Nguyen, OTD, OTR/L and various guest speakers to inform and educate the community regarding the dynamic aspects of baby/infant development. This is designed to strengthen the collaboration, communication, and multi-disciplinary approach to early intervention. We are dedicated to bridging the gap across disciplines as a means to improve and sustain quality of care for your baby.
Empower your baby through play. One Child’s mission is to facilitate functional, age-appropriate development through therapeutic play. Allowing a baby to engage with their environment while we guide their movements is essential for natural, purposeful, and proper movement. At One Child, we value not only the baby’s physical development, but also their social emotional development.
